The major downtown shopping area is definitely on St-Catherine street. The downtown shopping area connects five shopping malls together from Promenades Cathedrale to Complexe Les Ailes to Center Eaton to Place Montreal Trust and to Les Cours Mont-Royal.

There is also Fairview Pointe Claire (Fairview Pointe Claire) which is pretty big shopping mall and has over 200 stores; Centre Rockland (Rockland Center); Galeries d'Anjou (Galeries d'Anjou) ...........etc.
