When I got my scuba hoodie I too was unsure if I should get an 8 or a 6. The 6 felt like it was pushing against my chest and felt a little uncomfortable so I got the 8 instead. i wanted comfort plus I want to be able to wear anything underneath it and not have to limit myself to just tank tops. I think it's better to pick the size up if you want comfort.
