So I went to Mentor on Monday and had a really nice Japanese girl named Miho. She spoke okay English, but didn't really talk that much while cutting my hair. I showed her a picture from my cellphone of what I wanted and she was like

. Haha! She kind of decided for me that she didn't want to cut my hair like that.. and instead brought over a magazine full of Japanese hairstyles. I didn't really pick one out, but I told that I wanted short choppy layers on the top.
After thinning out my hair a bit and giving me some layers (that weren't choppy at all) she was just about finished but she asked me if I needed anything else. I asked if I could get more layers on the top and she kind of made a face again. She was VERY hesitant to cutting short layers at the top and even said "I can't believe I'm doing this.."
My hair turned out okay. Not what I asked for or what I really wanted, but she did a goodjob on my bangs I can say.. The only problem is that my hair basically looks the same as it did before and you can hardly tell if I got a haircut or not.. haha.
The prices are very reasonable there. It's about $34 (that's the price with tax included) for a cut without no shampooing and $45 with shampooing (tax included).
