Though we all dress for ourselves, I assume, we are also all influenced by the things around us that inspire or ferment ideas of creativity in the way we clothe ourselves. Some people admire celebrities, some use books or television or movies, some people even use music and art.

I can distinguish what inspires me; I'm influenced by the aesthetics of:
1. Movies: Fight Club, Fear and Loathing, Domino
2. Books: American Psycho, anything by Charles Bukowski and J.D. Salinger
3. Recently, the glossy luxury of Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass
4. Indie rock/experimental music: Interpol, Neutral Milk Hotel, Explosions In The Sky, Jesus and Mary Chain

I clothe myself eccentrically - I often have vintage items on me, I love pearls, wear very tall heels, tights, mini dresses and skirts, cashmere and I barely wear anything that other people have. I pretty much stick to a colour scheme of red, black, blue and white.
