Firstly, the reason why your black clothing is inundated with lint is because you most likely mixed your black clothing with light-colored clothing in the washing machine. Wash dark clothing seperately from light-colored clothing and the lint problem will stop. Please note that for some particular types of clothing, the lint may be impossible to remove. I accidentally washed my black Ralph Lauren Polo tshirt with light-colored clothing once and the lint was impossible to remove so I had to discard the tshirt altogether.
