An easy way of not buying fakes (which only works if you are looking right at the product, instead of pictures) is that is will be good quality and a good design. Designer brands become designer brands for a reason. They have something to offer. If you pick up an item and think "I know these are in right now, but the wash doesn't look all that impressive" or "I bet I could find something very similar in quality at half the price" then it is probably a fake product. Don't buy something because it is a brand name or because it is popular right now. If you are spending a ton of money on an item it should look amazing to you.
