Re:off the freaking wall

By law they have to give it to you for the price listed on the tag, regardless if they switched the tag, unless you see them switch it. it is considered false advertising and you can argue that you want it for that price because that\'s what it is listed at.
I\'ve had that happen at my work, and you have to give it to them. it ended up being an employees fault, and i made a comment to the customer like: \"oh it\'s your lucky day, someone messed up\"
I was on the receiving end of that as well during a sale when they placed the wrong signs above the wrong dresses and ended up getting a gorgeous dress that was $98 on for like $24 (at jacob in metro). i just went to the counter, put the dress up there, and when it rang in i said: \"oh, and that\'s on sale for $24 right? that\'s what the sign says\" the girl said, oh, ya and gave it to me for that. after i left she went and switched the signs...yes that was me knowing it was their fault, but i\'ve accidentally put things in the wrong place and had to own up to it.
i find it amazing that they don\'t have a line for customer complaints. see if you can get the district manager\'s name and number and contact them....they also have to deal with it so you may as well go to the next source.
