I don't know about all the other girls from Vancouver/BBY that sold on mallvibes/list4a, but yes she did 'pay' through paypal prior to geting the goods.
The whole issue and warning is to make sure you're being paid via Paypal by the RIGHT person, and confirm it.
The paypal account wasn't DTP's, but she somehow came up with this scheme to get goods using someone else's money. The paypal account user lives in UK and saw an ad through --I don't even know what since her story isn't so straight either, and she was thought she was paying multiple payments through paypal, to different email addresses for her wholesale make-up. But in reality, that wholesale make up never existed and she was really just funding some 14 year old's shopping spree.
