i'm almost as tall as you and i think the boots are not a problem for me. i think it's cuz the boots are longer when u get bigger sizes. normally girls who are 5"3-5"4 dont wear size 9 or 10 =_=. IMO I'd rather have it just below the knee cuz I think if they hit right on the knee it'd be quite uncomfortable and hard to walk.
