ugh i know what you mean!

i'm 100% chinese, and look chinese but grew up in the philippines so i'm fluent in tagalog. sometimes at work, people would also comment using tagalog about this and that, not realizing that i understand them perfectly.

when i'm at bar (i work at starbucks) and hear them talking about me or my coworker in tagalog, i'll be like "i have a *insert drink here* for *insert name here*" and when its their drink i look them in the eye and say "salamat!" which is thank you in tagalog.

still gotta have good customer service but doesn't mean i can't be sarcastic about it, hahaha
