they probably did issue your cheque within the 48 hours that they are given, and the last paycheque is usually mailed not direct deposited into your account. if it's been 7 days since you've quit, that means you quit last tuesday. so they had until late thursday/early friday to issue your cheque, then it was the weekend, which means you've technically only waited 2 days (official business days). i would wait until friday and if you still havent received it, give them (human resources) a call and ask them. if they said they issued it, then wait til monday and if it still hasnt arrived, call labour relations.
