It's true.

but i think your not living till u've experience it all..in terms of food...(it could apply to all sorts of things: even travel...and etc.)

typical Western food is so bland...like steak and potatoes.....u just have yur 3 meat groups: chicken, pork, beef..that it! and some westerners complain about the smell of lamb...some swear off seafood...r u kidding me? it's so good.

my dad is a chef. and through out the yrs of experience. it was known that the Western cuisin is at the bottom of the list...in terms of best tasting compared to other cultures...French, Chinese...etc.

i dunno how refined your taste buds are but you can start off with seafood..snails, lobster, oysters. and try some calamari...and work yur way up...to diced pig's ear <-- so good. it's not in a shape of an ear LOL.

i have been engrained as a child to eat everything. if i don't like parsley. my dad will tell me to eat it again in a month. and i eventually got over the fact i didn't like the taste because honestly, it doesn't taste bad!!...jus as a child u jus like the taste of fried, sugary or fatty foods...kids r ignorant jus cuz u look at it and say "i don't like it" without taking a bite. it also depends how it's made tho..my dad makes everything so good...so im not a picky eater whatsoever.

i hope this makes sense. this post is just to inspire others to try new foods. some may be surprisingly good.
