You can look that up on wordreference.com! I use that instead of my French dictionary...which I lost lmao.

"Est-ce que", "qu'est-ce que", and "est-ce qu'ils" are all ways of starting off questions.
"Est-ce que" signifies a yes or no question,
"Qu'est-ce que" is a question that starts with "What..."
and "Est-ce qu'ils" is a question that starts with "Do they..." and can be used for groups of all males or mixed gender groups. In that case, "ils" is the subject.
