This is soooo weird. I just had to read this case at work this morning and summarize it. I'll check out this article and let you know in a couple minutes...

The gist with the Schreiber v. Mulroney case was basically that Schreiber said Mulroney had promised him $300,000 in an oral contract while he was still Prime Minister. The courts basically said that was a lie (the part about the contract being made while he was PM) and that Schreiber was trying to drag Mulroney's name through the mud.
