Yeps for freinds and family events, SPC cannot be used. All other times of the year it is fine.

But if you buy over a specific amount during F&F, they give you an addtional 10 to 15 % off. I usually go with freinds and family and put everything on one bill to get the extra discount. It's a better deal with friends and family anyways.
