Anyways I was wondering about the application forms many shops give out for hiring. Some of them have questions like the last job you worked at, name of employer, etc. The thing is, I don't have any job experience and only have volunteer experience. Do I just leave that section blank? It looks kinda bad if I do.

Also, what would be a good job to start with? I was thinking maybe retail clothing store? Would I qualify?
Of course you should put your volunteer experience in the job experience section because volunteer experience is also relevant to job experience. Volunteer experience is even better than job experience because it shows you have initiative and not just there for the dough. And if its your first job, don't feel shy to apply at clothing stores in the mall. A friend of mine has no work experience but she's a smooth talker and really pretty and got hired at a high end cosmetic company inside The Bay! Sometimes all you need is luck!
