STAY AWAY FROM MISAKOs

Unless you speak fluent Japanese, and even then, I would not recommend any of the Misako salons for anyone. I had healthy long hair and wanted a shorter cut (a style I've had before, and really liked). I chose Misako bc I figured they would be good for my very asian (some straight, thick and some curly) hair. WRONG. It looks awful, really terrible, I got the opposite for what I asked for. They undercut it so much and so roughly that it looks like a shag carpet, with a nice overcomb of a tiny bit of "smooth hair".

Thinking back, the girl who cut my hair never really looked at my hair before she cut it, never asked me about how I usually wear my hair, or how I like to style it. She was just all smiley and "yes, yes". What a sham. I can't say how disappointed I am. The service afterwards was really defensive and rude. NOT worth it.
