40+ hours is full-time, but in retail environment I highly doubt you'll get even 40 hours unless you are part of management. If this is your first job, don't be too picky just go flood your mall with resumes in as many stores that you are interested in for work. Experience is a plus, but its also all about your attitude and how well you present yourself. Again, don't be too specific and picky with where you want to work your first time around.
