Any suggestions on where to buy nice evening dresses to fit a petite (size 0) person living in Calgary?

I went through several malls and only came across BCBG that I felt offered nice, quality dresses. The prices, however, weren't the most appealing--quite high! I am not fond of the styles and colors that several "popular" stores like Le Chateau and Bebe carry. I'm looking for more refined yet contemporary. Can anyone suggest a place or places to buy nice, quality, relatively cheap evening wear?
