I'm going to Florida in just under 3 weeks, and since it's so sunny I'm obviously going to be wearing sunscreen. But the thing is at the same time I want to be wearing make up too. I've never actually had to wear sunscreen and make up at the same time so I'm kind of lost in it. I usually just use liquid foundation, liquid and pencil eyeliner, and sometimes mascara and an eyebrow pencil. My question is, should I get make up with SPF in it or can I just keep using my make up and put it on top of my sunscreen or the other way around? If I should get a different type of make up then any suggestions would be appreciated, in a reasonable price range of course.

Sunscreen works as make up base. you can just wear your make up over it :) i usually wear my sunscreen (bit creamy ones Aveeno) and don't put on my base and put my powders or liquid foundations on straight. i think make ups with SPF is probably better though lol! have fun @ florida and have a safe trip!

i usually put sunscreen on my face before i apply makeup. it tends to make me look shiny-ish or "glow"y so i always powder it up with foundation. and then i just apply the rest of my makeup normally.

have fun in sunny florida!

definately, it sticks on a lot longer too

i usually use SPF 30 on my face and 45 on my body if its rlly hot.i dont think spf 15 is enoguh to protect you in florida ><

edit: make sure your eye bags/ under your eyes are well protected cuz its so sentsitive, if you get a sunburn there you're in big trouble!

don't forget your lips too! they are the easiest to burn because the skin on your lips are so thin.

i have a tinted moisturizer that has SPF 15 in it already but i don't think that's enough for florida. there are moisturizers that have SPF in them as well. most of the moisturizers that have sun protection have SPF 15 which probably isn't enough for florida. i would be safe and use an oil free sun screen under make up. they don't look as shiny as other sunscreens and they feel more like moisturizers. coppertone has one that is SPF 45 and i'm sure skin-care companies like neutrogena have a good oil free sunscreen that you can use under make up.

I find Neutrogena Ultra Sheer dry touch sunscreen to be a good makeup base before I put on foundation. It's not oily at all!
