Does anyone have the price range for this sale?
It's not much of a sale if the price is still high! Ty for any info!

I went to this sample sale last year and it was pretty good. Literally thousands of pairs of shoes, enough to fill a whole skating rink. Most of the shoes are Ladies size 6 & 7 and Men's size 8 & 9 (i.e. sample sizes) -- however, there were some larger women's sizes available, but they were definitely the minority. There were a couple tables of kids shoes as well. Last year brands included:

Guess
Tommy Hilfiger
Born
Dansko
Timberland
Haflinger
Elle
Naughty Monkey
Naturalizer
Clarks
Tsubo
and lots lots more

Prices ranged from $10 to $45. Most of the shoes were between $25 and $40. Sandals, boots, slippers, heels, runners . . . pretty much everything. They also had about 5 tables of Handbags/purses/luggage as well.

Can you believe it's already time to talk about the Shoe Sample Sale again. It's coming at us fast and is happening on the September Labour Day weekend. We are hoping to put on our usual grand spectacle of fine footwear and bags.

There's a couple of things that I want to inform you about.

1. I know that it is very warm out there and it's hard for us to imagine colder weather but rest assured it's coming. Santana Canada was a manufacturer of high quality waterproof winter boots and has closed their doors after over 30 years in business. We received the final grouping of samples from them, almost 1,000 pairs in sizes 6 and 7 of fabulous styles that retail up to $250 and we will be selling them to you at $40 at the Sample Sale. There is even 130 pairs of larger sizes. So it's a fabulous deal - remember to take care of your winter footwear needs while you are at the Sale.

2. I wanted to point out that we have FINAL SALE signage at the Sale. This is because we are not a store and cannot deal with problems between sample sales. However if you do have a problem with a quality issue with footwear you have purchased from us, please bring it to the following sample sale and we will do our best to solve the problem. I point this out because I had a customer tell me that she had a pair of bad shoes and simply thought that she was out of luck. Our intent is to make sure that you get good footwear at a good price and come back happy year after year.

3. We have had ongoing difficulty with allowing bags or baskets at the Sale as there sometimes has been a problem with hoarding shoes. We have purchased 100 grocery-store-style baskets for the next sale and hope this may help alleviate the situation now.

4. We send our emails out in bulk but some spam blockers stop these emails from getting through to people who would like to receive this notification. Please remember to pass this email on to family and friends as some people are still not receiving the information on the Sale.

5. For those of you who like to shop early on Friday morning but don't have the time to wait in the long line-up that develops, we will be happy to put your shoes on hold for you so that you can return later in the day to pay when the line ups have died down. This service will only be available on Friday until 9 pm. If you do not return by that time for your shoes, they will be put back on the floor for sale on the Saturday and Sunday.

awesome! this is great. my friend went last summer when it was in downtown and got these great pair of suede knee boots for $30. i'd rather miss out on the aritzia sale and head to this one...

you're so lucky! i went the 2nd day and they sold out of all the polos for men and women. all 1275 of them! that's what the organizer told me. but i got some good sweaters and a blazer out of it.
this sale should be good and everything should be well priced. happy shopping!

i've heard of one a couple of months ago in toronto!

I went last time, I think it was March 2005.
The polos were $35 the first day, by the last day, Polos I think were around $20, tops were $10, dresses were $10, blazers were $15 and all bottoms were $7.

I got a lot of good stuff, but men's had a pretty bad selection for Lacoste.

There was a lot of Newman (a brand also sold at Holt Renfrew) stuff as well.

don't get too excited, especially if you're a guy. i went last year, selection wasn't too bad for girls, but for guys, it was terrible. i think i went on the second day, and it looked like i entered zellers. only, it wer in a warehouse and that they only had size xx large. how embarressing.
