Question Aoi Beauty Studio

Hello, has anybody gone to Aoi Beauty Studios before? I'm planning to get extensions like the ones in my profile pic. It says on their website that they use this special braiding technique.. has anybody tried it before? And what are some other good places to get extensions? i'm not planning to lengthen my hair or anything.. i'm just looking for colored extensions. just the separate strands. =)

Re: Aoi Beauty Studio

i'm a regular customer of AOI. I've personally never gone there for extensions, only for cut & color, but i wouldn't underestimate their ability to do extensions as Japanese people have a knack for detail and perfection. Granted the only downside is that none of the staff speak perfect English so communication could be hit or miss. I suggest you call them in advance to book a consultion with someone who speaks the best English and go on from there. Perhaps ask them to do a "sample" extension on your hair to see if you like it or not, and they shouldn't have a problem doing that.

Also everytime i go there, i ALWAYS have pictures with me, both of what I want, and what I DON'T want. It really helps them get a good idea of how you want to look.

Re: Aoi Beauty Studio

Hey klts!

I've been to AOI twice and had great experience with them. Just went there last week.

First time, I had my hair colored, cut and extenions put in and they did a good job. And I agree, it's a good idea to bring the picture you like!

I have a referal card, if you're interested -you can recieve 10% off for your first visit. =)
