Concealer to Recommend?

Hi! I'm looking for a good but still affordable concealer for dark undereye circles. The one I use now, Revlon ColorStay, is okay, but I can still see the darkness underneath around the edges....even though the rest of the area is lighter. That's another problem, the "concealed" parts are ...dare I say...abnormally (it just doesn't look natural) brighter than the rest of my face. I don't like using makeup, so I just put on some pressed powder to blend the concealer in. I don't use foundation. I've heard that concealer with a yellow base or tinge to it will not create the "bright" undereye concealer phenomena. Is this true? It the concealer works, I can deal with it being a little pricer. Can anyone recommend anything?

You can try Clinique or Lancome. Those two are pretty good. Try going to a make up counter and get them to try it on you and see what's good for you. I think for foundations and concealers, it's worth it to spend a little more than drug store brands.

Believe it or not a brand called Physician's Formula has a product out called Magic Cube. And they're yellow color concealer does wonders for dark undereye circles. Harper's Bazaar voted it one of the best concealers for dark undereye circles available in the market! I've tried tons of brands (BeneFit's Boing concealer, Cover Girl, MAC Studio Finish, Dior Skinflash, and Chanel) and agree 100% that Physician's Formula Magic Cube is a damn fab concealer and does its job damn well! It's hard to find though. The last time I checked London Drugs doesn't carry it. I get mine in the States when I go down there. Buy it and let's see if it works for u too!

MAC made me (and a lot of people I know) break out and I've never broken out before. I'll never use any MAC products for my face again.

Re: Concealer to Recommend?

koOty:...yes i have heard that b4 too..i generally dunt use mac for foundation cuz its to heavy for my skin..doesnt make me breakout tho..but thats y i recommended trying it cuz u never kno whos skin will accept or reject it!..and they let u return any product after use if u dunt like..so u relli do have to experiment if youve never used sumthin before too see if it works for u..no 2 ppl are alike
