It looked the same to me as usual. (She never bothered to even get her stylist's name either. She went to the Richmond one. I went to the downtown one.)

I can speculate on why she wasn't satisfied , but don't quote me on it:
-Perhaps there was a miscommunication between the stylist/my friend
-Perhaps the stylist/my friend just weren't compatible
-Perhaps my friend is conversative and hesistated in trying something different
-My friend has long shoulder length hair. There's only so much you can do with such long hair.
-Perhaps the usual places she goes to can already give her the haircut she wants without having going to Zeal to get it

Oh and for you girls out there (This has probably been posted somewhere before), here are some great websites for hair ideas:

I think they do take drop ins, but you should call ahead first to see if there are any times available. The day I went, they were literally waiting for drop ins. It was a Sunday though and it wasn't busy.

Give us a review of your stylist after you get your cut =)

I'm interested to know how well other stylists not reviewed here do.

I don't think so unless they are not busy- which is rare...
Everytime I pass by it's packed with people who have scheduled...
You wouldn't want to be rude and jam into people who have scheduled already...
I usually book 2 weeks in advanced....

I use Got2Bs Freeze Spray. Hard to miss, it comes in a yellow can.

For styling I recommend using Gatsby purple/grey wax.
After I use up my tub I plan on trying Xtah Clay; since it has good reviews as well.

Re: My Review of Zeal (Guy's Perspective)

hairspray: you can get it at shoppers or any drugmart.
gatsby, its more of an asian thing so go to asian malls like parkerplace or aberdeen and try looking for it. you might wana ask around too cuz some of your friends might sell em.

and i had my haircut @ zeal 2 weeks ago and it was AWESOME.
my hair turned out very nice, and they cut it the way you want it.
i've never been so satisfied with a haircut before.
usually ive had people cut my hair and then they suggest something and it looks horrible.
the guy who cut my hair was eddie and he was real sweet.
i went in in the morning and they had room around 6 so i went in around then to cut it.

definately worth the 42 dollars ladies!!!
note: when you get there just explain very clearly what you want.
youll get EXACTLY what you want!

I've bought/found Got2B freeze spray at these locations:

Zellers
London Drugs
Shoppers Drug Mart
Supermarket

They range from $4.99-$6.99 depending if they're on sale
