Does anyone know a good hair salon in vancouver / burnaby? I wanna get some highlights but not sure which places are good. Looking for a place where they're familiar with asian hair so they know how to get the right colour.

or try this place on hastings/willingdon in burnaby i think its called In Red Salon or something never got my hair colored there but you can check it out if you want, they give pretty good hair cuts.

My friends and I always get mine done there for $120 (it's about $100 w/o toner but it looks better with). Ask for a flat price and if they charge you more just say something like my friend referred me and they said they always pay $120. Works everytime! But don't forget to tip. Hehe.

i got my hair cut, and i got low-lights done. theyre suuuper experienced and they have the most experienced staff i ever met. (well it was my first time getting my low-lights). and they did, a FANTASTIC job. its in Yaletown.. sorry im not much help. x_x

Actually I've gotten my whole head bleached at N&T and it was still healthy after and didn't break off or looked fried. Maybe you just got a bad stylist. But anyway that was almost 2 years ago and I'm back to dark hair. It's worse now though (even though I haven't colored it in 6 months) because I haven't been keeping up with the deep conditioning and I straighten a lot. But Tonic is also a very good choice if you have extra money to spend.

I love going to Kaen on Robson. Its a japanese hair salon and the guy that does my hair is so nice. When they washed my hair they gave me like a 5 min scalp massage. I almost fell asleep. Another good think its decent the prices are very resonable. Plus, they actually take time on your hair instead of rushing for the next person.

I got highlights done too....but not exactly like how i wanted them to be. But ya i have to say they do a great job and its not that pricey too

I go to N&T as well, just be sure to get the owner to do ur hair....

I'm not sure who does my hair. Its the guy with long hair. He always makes sure I love my hair cut before I leave. They are such great people. Probably the best service ever.
