Foundation and Powder?

Can anyone recommend a light foundation, nothing thick and a good loose powder to go with it?

Re: Foundation and Powder?

I'd be more than happy to send you a sample of Mary Kay's foundation. We match your colour PERFECTLY... and it's oil free, lightweight... NATURAL looking!

Re: Foundation and Powder?

Dior's Skin True Powder Makeup, it's a pressed powder-type foundation, that way you don't have to bother with 2 products. It gives a really nice finish, & isn't drying. Has an SPF of 20. I absolutely love it!

Anna Sui also has a simular product I was using a couple of years ago. Called Powdery Foundation, you buy the super cute case & the foundation is refillable. Also really good, and costs less than the Dior one.
they also make a nice loose powder that comes with a cute puff and case.

But if you're set on a liquid, Prescriptives Traceless & Stila's Sheer Colour are both ultra light, gives sheer coverage and provide SPF 15.
At Prescriptives, after they match your color, if you're not sure you can ask for a sample and they'll fill a sample tube for you to try at home.

For a powder, I really like Benefit's Georgia Peach, smells like peaches and gives you a touch of color. (It is a pressed powder though)

I know I'm a bit long winded, but I hope this helps

Re: Foundation and Powder?

Lacome Color I.D. for a foundation. It's extremely light and you can barely feel it.

For loose powder, I just use Covergirl and it works great!

Re: Foundation and Powder?

if you only need light coverage, you could even just try tinted moisturizer so it gives your whole face an overall glow and it's super blendable with like a cream blush or something. marcelle from like any drug store is good if you have sensitive skin.

otherwise, on the higher end of the price spectrum, MAC's Studio Mist Foundation works wonders... super light weight, not greasy at all... and stays PUT!

loose powder... off the top of my head... Almays's Luxury Finish works well. hypo allergenic too.

I use the loose powder from Physician's Formula and I find it works great for me as well. It's inexpensive (about $13 bucks) and lasts you quite a while. It gives a great finish to your makeup. They have different products so it's worth while checking out

Re: Foundation and Powder?

cover fx
best foundation / powder you will EVER use
pricy, but lasts forever. You need to use a foundation brush, and put just 1 little dab on each cheek, the chin, and the forehead.
