I never heard anyone going over 4 months. it last longer if you use speical shampoo for hair extension.

Re: Hair Extensions

They charge so much cuz most stuff came from Asia, LOL. To sell them over here, they need to extra on shipping plus TAX, duty free which could be 20-30% more. In addition, there's minimum wage in Vancouver. To hire someone, they have to pay at least $8ish an hour even just to tidy up stuff, but over in Asia, people are willing for work for even less than $1.00 an hour, LOL

Re: Hair Extensions

Sorry if I sound rude, but I don't think this relates at all to cancer patients. I think there are more than enough hair around for everyone to get them. I mean....people in Africa are starving, does that mean we shouldn't eat and starve cuz they don't have food? I have sympathy for cancer patients too, but what they need are medicine and cure instead of hair. I'm not sure if you are aware, cancer patients loose their hair due to the chemotherapy and their hair would grow again once they stop. Thus, it is two completely different situation.

the extension hair are soft and smooth right when you purchase them. after you place them in your head, it gets brittle due to the wind, sun, heat, flat iron/curler, and whatever. the hair is also treated by chemical before selling. you can't even wash some of the extensions. some people don't put on conditioner. also, the hair shred after a few weeks.
