Hair Extensions

I know there is a thread exactly same as this one,
but the reffered place on that thread was some place in new westminister. Does anyone know of any place in VANCOUVER that does good weaves for a reasonable price?

I feel like i need more hair on my head And my hair is also pretty flat, volumeless! Maybe it will add some volume?

Re: Hair Extensions

only other place i kno of is called bijou hair or sumthin..its near abantu..but if you are getting a weave done (which ive had) it is hard to manage..so mak sur u hav the time to follow all instructions and also i didnt notice it but sum ppl say it does thin ur hair out eventually cuz its pulling so much weight on ur hair..and if your lukin to get volume u shu try jus adding a double weft to the crown of ur head instead of doing ur whole head as its unneccessary and will luk fake (like to much volume)..also NeVR buy hair that isnt 100% remi virgin and has not been dyed, highlighted or anythin..i had that once and it tangles after 1 wash u will have to take it out ( i cut mine out lol)...dark hair is the best for hair extensions as they stay lukin healthy and real.

depends on the length you want. but they're $100+. are you planning to do weave in or fusion? if your doing weave, it's going to get braid so there's no point of geting a haircut. if your getting fushion, get it cut after to blend the extensions into your real hair.

Re: Hair Extensions

I suggest you get clip-on extensions because weaves hurt like hell (or so I heard). Clip-ons take like 5 minutes to put on and you can wash/style them as you would real hair if you get a good quality set. PLUS you can take them off when you sleep!

You can get a 7-piece clip on set at Abantu for $200. I've had mine since summer now and I've added dark ash brown highlights to them (since they were all blond when I got them) and the quality is still good.

Re: Hair Extensions

abantu sucks I heard. They charge a fortune but does a crappy job. I have a friend who got pretty nice extensions at a place called Wan (can't remember exactly the name) for around $75 depending what you're looking for. I think she said brown/black colors are cheaper than other special colors. My friend add A LOT of volume to her hair and they look really nice. Weave is where you get hair braided onto your real hair. Fusion is using glue or rings to attach hair to your real hair.

Re: Hair Extensions

Weaves don't hurt at all.
I've had them done 6 times, and it didn't itch or hurt a bit.

Re: Hair Extensions

I know this really good place on kingsway. she started braiding since she's 12 and won a lot of awards. she won 1st place for doing extensions in the whole world!!! she only charges $35 I think for one web/track. that's a really good deal guys!! I can't remember where I put her business card but I'll post it when I find it.

weave is when the hair is braid and sew on, it really hurts. fushion is when it's glued on with speical hair glue.
