Sheer Cover VS. Bare Minerals

So, for any of you who have used, tried, or bought either one of the products, or both... Which one would you say works best? I personally own sheer cover, but only a few of their products.. they work quite well but a friend of mine that owns bare minerals (which is about twice the cost of Sheer cover) says that it works twice as well ! Anyways, i was thinking of order some bare minerals but im looking for some customer feed back !! please and thanks : D

Re: Sheer Cover VS. Bare Minerals

Here's another thread on Bare Minerals
bare minerals ?

I've personally used BM for a few months now. I'm quite happy with the results it gives. It's very light, and has really good coverage. The only thing i don't like about this product is that u cannot take the product anywhere. the powder spills through the holes and makes a huge mess... but other than that i'm quite happy. I paid 60 bucks for the starter set. So it came with the brushes, 2 foundation, mineral veil, bronzer ....

Re: Sheer Cover VS. Bare Minerals

some ppls are sensitive to bare minerals. I personally break out after I use bare minerals, and I usually NEVER break out.

so unless your skin is sensitive, bare minerals DOES look good!!

You can also try www.blusche.com
They are Canadian and way more reasonable than BE or SC. If you like the glowy look then the Satin is the one for you and Velvet is more matte. I love both depending on how I feel. its also medium coverage. I find I need a finishing powder though or it doesnt last as well.

Re: Sheer Cover VS. Bare Minerals

i seriously suck at matching my skin tone to a colour... i would seriously need someone to put it on me and make sure it's the right colour.

don't they sell similar products at like superstore?

You can always email them and tell them what you use in regular foundation or send a photo. That is also why they offer samples to try before you buy. And if you put a cotton ball on top of the sifter then there is no mess. I usually scoop some in a small jar to use for travel.
