I was hired by the Oakridge store last summer, and the starting wage was $9. Way too low for me, as I was coming from an office where I was paid $14. I didn't take the job. I was shocked when she said 9 (I was previously at Aritzia and got 10, she exclaimed that was "high")...Holt's even pays around $14.

wow, i'm surprised that they start at such a low wage. I would have expect higher since they are more high end.

that is so cheap, wow! A barista @ starbucks gets paid the same as a sales associate selling high-end designer items..lol! But if they have employee discounts..it's REALLY worth it, imo.
