Re: Anybody know?

so i gave mavi a call back and just asked if any hiring has been done and they're still hiring. They said they would call me back if they were interested so i dunno what i should do. I thought i would have a job at least by now, if i dont have one by the end of july, i think im gonna have a heart attack!

Re: Anybody know?

I hate to say this... But it is natural for you to have a hard time finding a job at this time of the year. Most summer hirings started way back in April =( I know you started applying around late June, but that's still TOO late.

Try to apply online to save more time. Chapters on Robson should be still hiring cause they called me twice few weeks ago. Two of the three full time style specialist at Le Chateau in Pacific Centre suddenly quit just a week ago. Is there a reason why you are not applying for more stream places (as you have mentioned before) ?

Department stores are ALWAYS hiring... Sears, The Bay, London Drugs, Canadian Tire...

PARASUCO Jeans is looking for full time staff also I think.

Re: Anybody know?

ive basically kinda been sticking to more places on 4th and broadway area's , but i have applied to some places downtown. I want to try to stay away from the more "stream" places but i just cant seem to find any retail stores that are wanting workers, im sure there are places hiring such as mavi but i havent heard anything back from them yet so im guessing they arnt gonna call back.
