Is this a good place to work? The Cafe Crepe Express... it's the one where its 'to go' and has no sitting area. How much do they get payed? Anything that's not fun about working there?
i heard it gets very hectic cause its VERY busy all the time. just today i was there and people working there were like screaming at eachother cause it was so busy and rushed
in my opinion i wouldnt wanna work there. i hate getting screamed at hahaha and being more rushed just makes me screw up more.
hmmm yea i know its really busy. but the express one has no seats soo there's like no bringing food to people. They just have to take it to go.
i used to work at the express cafe crepe as a barista. that was like 4 yrs ago.. i worked there for 9 months and i didn't really like it to tell you the truth. it really depends on who you're working with.. if you work with fun / cool people, it's not so bad. however cafe crepe has an extremely high turnover rate, at least when i worked. it seems that is still the case, because there's different people working every single time i walk by... (i had 2 managers get fired in the span of time that i was working there). Pay is 8 bucks, i never got a raise, and chances are slim to none that you will ever get one, unless you are a chef (which i think is just 50 cents more), or you're promoted to a manager. The place is small and cramped and really hot during the summer.. pests were also a recuring problem.. um, i could go on about alot of things but, honestly, there's better places to work at, even if you don't have any experience. Try for starbucks, or moxies.
Thanks! Definitely don't plan on working there if its $8. No wonder I saw a sign asking for full time and part timers. Cuz there were positions available. I don't like places with high turn overs cuz then i don't wanna work there anymore when the people i worked with are all gone and its just new people.
