One tax on school supplies

I don't know if i should stick it in the shopping discussion or school talk.. but when i went to staples today to get some things for my project, the guy told me that i can get one tax on supplies for school.

To be honest.. I never heard of it or knew about it. So I'm curious, what else does it apply to? Besides Binders, pens, pencils, earsers, glue stick.. i guess the basic school supplies. Last question: Who? Only Elementry, High school students or anyone whose a student?

ya and not ink for printers either.....they may just ask what school you're talking about, but other than that it's all good. ........you end up saving quite a bit when you think of it in the long run though.

Re: One tax on school supplies

I always just say it's for school and they'll give you only one tax, they never ask questions or anything. I'm pretty you can say that as long as it's for school. They only give one tax for somethings though...not all things, like graphing calculators don't count and other large products, but it's good for papers, pencils, binders..etc...
