i've been working abt 3 shifts already, but no ones told me how much i get an hour .. -.- and since its been a while, im kinda scared to ask ? i know you have a right to know but since its been a while should i just wait for my paycheck or what ?

well if it was me, i'd assume im getting paid $8 (thats starting for most retail then you get raises later on) ..what is your job? ..but you shouldn't be scared unless you feel awkward to ask ..i guess they didn't say anything and assume you know you're getting paid minimum wage. and if you wait till you get your paycheque and realized you got paid less than $8 an hour ..we got a problem ..lol

You have a right to know how much you will be paid so you should ask. It's strange that they didn't tell you...

just ask...but put the question in a better sounding way...insteading of...something rude....jus say "how much do we get paid hourly?" or something like that.

i ask even before i start my job. i know its rude but you should knwo right?
for example. im getting a few interviews, woudl you rather work at a palce for 6.75 an hour? or 9 bucks an hour?

that used to happen to me -_- maybe you can try asking your co-workers so you'll have an idea what range your salary would be. or if you like, get to know your manager by talking to him/her about the job...ask some questions and try to slip your salary question in there too..lol it worked a few times for me..

they usualyl tell you. its most likely every two weeks. every one week if your lucky. I guess if you dont get it in 2 weeks ask them for sure

awww well im pretty sure it's $8/hr ..probably more! ..just be glad it's not mcdonalds..lol ...or maybe you can ask one of the ppl you work with and just be like what did you get when you first started working here ..or like how is the paying here ..is it good ..do we get raises often? ..try make conversation and yea ..lol

Paychecks are usually* bi-weekly but I don't think it's too rude to ask. Just ask politely!

If you're a hostess, it should be around $8. I use to work there too, except it might be different at different locations.

yea you can but you can't serve, you have to be legal. you'd probably be a hostess.

LOL im 14 & i got hired, you have to work abt a year to be a server unless you already have experience & yes you can serve, as long as your not the one pouring out the liquor its alright & well i guess you should know but it seems like im .. :S actually im not sure im just shy
