National Ballroom Competition in Vancouver this year!

Hi All!

The annual national championship for dancesport (or what you would know it as ballroom and latin dancing) is coming to Vancouver this year!! It only happens once every 4 years as it rotates through each major city in Canada: Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver!!

It is called the Canadian Closed Championships and it is a pretty big deal for all the dancers in the nation. This is an International DanceSport Federation recognized event, meaning the winners for this competition is going to represent Canada at the 2007 World Championships. It is a once in 4 year opportunity to come out and watch the best in the country fight for their national title. And it's all happening this Easter weekend!!!

It's a great event to take your significant other to on the holidays!! Or bring a whole gang of girls to check out the latest fashions!! $1000 dollar hand made flowing gowns, 1000 grosses of sparkling rhinestones (swarovski only! we are talking about the nationals, come on!), sexy latin costumes, fringes, ruffles, feathers, low cut, backless, laces, chiffon, silk, daimonds, hot shoes, and so much more!!! *whew* You are not a fashionista until you can pick out a good latin costume from a GREAT one.
