Ways to avoid spending too much?
OK. So I have been a bit crazy with shopping lately, especially online shopping. There's a summer trip coming up for me and I really shouldn't spend anything!
Usually when I am shopping online in sites like RevolveClothing, I try to only look at the 'Sale' section instead of the 'New Arrivals' section. First of all, sizes will be limited since it's on sale, so it's a good way to avoid impulse buys sometimes, just sometimes hahaha. Also, I feel better if I bought something that was on sale, makes me feel less guilty .I hope there isn't a thread about this yet >< |

Re: Ways to avoid spending too much?
chop up your credit cards or decrease the spending limit on them.
carry around cash. get other peoples opinon when looking onlione (ie. older sister.. they might say that item is ugly and you shouldnt buy it) look at the website and add stuff to your shopping cart. comeback after a week and if ti's still there then buy it (i tend to do that on websites and when i finally want to purchase it, it is all sold out) |

Re: Ways to avoid spending too much?
This thread is genius. Honestly... I spend and spend and spend way over my budget >.< Even though it seems like I'm picking and choosing the things I want to buy, I still end up buying so much.
When I go shopping in person, I carry cash only. I usually spend however much I bring so I plan and budget ahead of time. As for online shopping... most of it's done on eBay >.< It's hard to control myself when there's so many good deals all the time. =\ I still have to find a solution to my eBay addiction. |

Re: Ways to avoid spending too much?
avoid buying useless $20 tops from urban behavriour or $10 jewelry from aldo or etc etc
cuz those little things add up and u don't end up using them anyways. from now on i buy quality instead of quantity. i still spend lots..but mostly cuz i like expensive things =( i guess it evens out LOL |

Re: Ways to avoid spending too much?
hahah like juicy brat said, avoid buying little things since they add up.
- don't spend money on food. LOL i think i spend like $10 a week on food ='[ - don't use your credit card.. except for emergencies - put a limit on your debit card. - only carry a little bit of cash - don't spontaneously buy stuff.. think about if you REALLY need it.
