Used Lululemon hoodie question

I am working out a purchase for a Lululemon Scuba hoodie. The seller says it's in "totally perfect condition" with no rips, stains, pilling or fading and that it's only been washed once. She agreed to $50, but her ad doesn't include a picture. Should I be weary? Is this deal too good to be true or am I overpaying?

Thanks!

Re: Used Lululemon hoodie question

You should definitely ask to see the product before you purchase it - if she makes warranties like "no rips, stains, pilling, or fading" - you will have a legal right to refuse to pay for the item if it does have any of those things wrong with it. I would look at it carefully since $50 isn't that great for a used hoodie - they have them for $76 at the warehouse I believe

Re: Used Lululemon hoodie question

Yeah, I will look at it before I pay but I would feel bad backing out of the deal if it's not in the condition she said it was, and I feel it's disrepectful to a seller to agree to a price and then haggle them down once you see them when the item is in the condition they claimed:( But then again I don't want to get ripped off. I'm a Lulu newbie so I'm not sure how much I should be paying for used hoodies/hoodies in this condition? I offered her $50 and she accepted, so now I'm thinking I offered too much...

Re: Used Lululemon hoodie question

Disrespectful and legal are two different issues - I was simply telling you your legal rights if something is not in the condition the seller warranted it to be.

Re: Used Lululemon hoodie question

I understand about the legal rights; I have the right to back out of a sale when the seller misrepresented the item. I'd just feel guilty doing it, hehe. Well, not if it was in horrible condition. Then that would be satisfying to tell them "Nice try!"

you should ask for pictures unless she doesnt have a camera. if she doesnt have one, examine the shirt when you meet up with her. not all sellers are trustworthy.

$50 for a hoodie thats used once is actually not a bad price if you really want one.

You should not feel bad at all for not purchasing the item. If its not what the seller stated that it was, lol. I would be mad to even travel all the way to meet her and realized that she lied about the condition.

Re: Used Lululemon hoodie question

I e-mailed the seller and they don't have pics but keep claiming that it's in brand new condition eventhough it's been worn a couple of times and washed. I'm unsure whether I should bother going all the way from White Rock to New West for something I haven't seen a picture of.
