Does Juicy Couture velour items NEED to be drycleaned?
I just received my Juicy Couture cropped velour jacket online yesterday. It has this smell of new clothes or something, and I don't like it, especially cuz it's quite strong, so I don't want to wear it out yet. On the tags it only said that to proted the J zipper, I have to wash it with a netbag, but do I seriously have to dry clean it? Does it do any damage to the clothing if I wash it in the washing machine?

I just throw my Juicy zipups into the wash, without protecting the J zipper. It hasn't damaged any of my clothing lol, it's just like a regular zipper. I don't really think you need to take special precautions with that, because I've washed mine tons of times and it's come out fine every time.

yeah i just throw it in with the rest of my clothes. none of my j's have came off before. and i find it weird how i see people that have sold stuff with broken zippers. like some ppl sell stuff with the J that is off or the same with t55, i find in weird in how that can happen.
i also never hand wash my clothes, i should for some, but i feel that its just not clean

yeah i find that weird too. it shouldn't happen normally...maybe the juicy ones were fakes so the j zipper broke easily? as for the triple 5 soul ones...they are usually pretty durable..although they are plastic and come in all different funny shapes depending on the style.
