there is so far only one MNG Mango store in Vancouver and its inside the airport

Steamy, sexy and a side dish of keen fashion sense may have Penelope Cruz gunning for Donna Karan’s job.

The 33-year-old Oscar-nominated actress has conquered acting, modeling and is determined – it seems – to take over the fashion industry as well. On Monday, Penelope and her look-a-like sister unveiled their new clothing line in Spain.

Penelope and her younger sister, Monica, designed an ultra-sexy line of fall/winter clothing for Spanish design house, Mango (MNG).

The majority of the 25 item collection consists of jeans, sweaters and tees and some tasty trinkets to spice things up the Cruz way. The two beauties not only created the collection but will also star in Mango's fall advertising campaign.

But Cruz’s sultry image isn’t just a marketable target for fashionistas. She’s already sealed a spot with popular jewelry and handbag collections for the Japanese retail chain, Samantha Thavasa. Penelope also owns her own store called Amarcord, in Madrid.

Who knew she had brains and beauty?

Can’t wait to try on some Cruz style? You’ll have to cool your heels until September 16th, but after that feel free to see if Cruz has the chutzpah to replace that sweet Donna Karan suit in the back of your closet.

I saw this in the Verve Girl magazine that I got from the library. I think most schools hand those out for free.

Penelope and her sister look so much alike, and both of them are so pretty! I don't know if I would wear her collection, though, since I don't usually wear MNG anyway. Penelope's really stylish either way, so I'm gonna drop by Mango and check it out sometime.

It seems like a lot of celebrities are launching their own clothing line.
