I don't think so. Those boots are really cute and don't look too high. If you like them - buy them!

im 5'1 too anjd i always buy midcalf because i find.. ankle boots not too attractive on me... and knee high are like over the knee lol.. calf high is just perfect.. cept its really hard to find niceo nes that look good... u just have to find the right style and pair... doesnt matter what size they are

yeah, i expected them to get a bit higher too. but it says mid-calf on the aldo site. they seem kinda more like tall ankle boots instead of mid-calf...

i'll upload a picture of me wearing them tomorrow.

hm...those look shorter than mid calf....but i think mid calf boots look better on shorter girls cuz shorter girls look not that great in knee high boots cuz it looks like they are "drowning" in them....if u have a mid calf boot..u show more leg and it creates the illusion of having long legs. imo.

they look good if you're wearing jeans with them, but i don't think mid-calf boots are flattering if worn alone (ie. with skirts etc)
