Forever 21

Hey there,
After seeing all the hype about forever 21, I'm curious on the clothing and having the (unnecessary) urge to shop there.
How are the sizes there? TTS?
I'm usually a small for tops, and 26-27 in pants.
I have broader shoulders and athlete legs (curse all those swimming classes and sports) , so anything that's asian-y and small and tiny wouldn't do.

Now that we've heard about my woes..
Sizes, anyone? =]

Re: Forever 21

It all depends on the fabric really. Some are true to size and some aren't. I usually wear fitted clothes so I'm a size Small, sometimes an XS for tops. But if it's like a cotton button up shirt that doesn't give then I might need to take a Medium. For instance I bought a button up blouse from F21 and it looked like it would fit me better if I went a size up so I got a medium but it turned out that it was loose and didn't fit nicely. Also, the red top I bought is a small but it fits like a medium. The key to finding your size is to look at what the material is made out of. If there's lycra or spandex (you know the strechy material) you might need to go one size down if you like it fitted. If you like it a bit loose a small will fit nicely.

I'm thinking of getting a few items, but they're size small..
Debating whether to get them or not.. >_<

I personally do shop at the forever 21 store.. and i don't find their sizing is consistant... one day i can be wearing a small in a top, the next time i go i would be reaching for larges... so buy at your own risk =)

Re: Forever 21

Anyone buying anything from there?
I have one sweater that I want to buy for a friend.
But it's only like 11 dollars and with shipping, it'd be a waste..
Can I leech onto anyone? :D lol

Agreed I am normally about a size on for jeans and I bought
a pair from forever 21 and they were a size zero I never tried them
on expecting them to fit perfect or a little bit snug but they ended up being
so big in the waste and in the but!

Re: Forever 21

I think their sizing is a bit weird. I would have to say online shopping isn't the best choice, if you don't noe what size to get. They only carry s,m,l. Sometime I wear xs, but the smallest they have is s, so i order that and it does fit. but i wouldn't trust it that much, even if they have a size chart. The tops i order, i would expect it to be a certain frabic, but it was something else. you can't really tell by the pics. so just becareful.

Re: Forever 21

I agree!! Be careful when you shop there, I do find their sizes very different. Normally I wear a medium, and I actually went to F21 last night (my first time going in Canada, Ive been to the one in the US before long ago) and I tried on a dress, the small fit me best, a top that I bought which was a medium, and a skirt that I bought which ended up being a large (the medium was a little too tight for my bum! lol) So it does depend on the fabric, the style etc. I personally wouldnt buy F21 online.. but I do love their stuff!!!

Re: Forever 21

Their sizing's really inconsistent. I usually wear XS but there aren't any XS clothes there. I bought a coat that was size M and it was tiny. I bought a sweater that was size S and it was huge. You really have to try on the stuff before you buy unless you don't mind.
