Which shoes should I get? puma/lacoste/other

I've been wanting to buy a pair of Puma speedcats because they look better on me than converse, adidas and etc...This is a pic of it. I tried it on and really liked it!

The original price is like 130 @ Browns but Sterling and etc are having a sale so they're like 70 dollars. The price is higher than what I expect but it's reasonable... cuz I got the suede speedcats for 50 before >.<

However near that item I saw some lacoste sport flats which I tried on and look really good too. Besides, they're reallly comfy and I agree with Sales Associate that they are more versatile...It is priced exactly the same as the puma.

p.s. the item in reality looks way better than that pic.

So my dilemma is that since they are both so nice and I only have the budget to buy one of them...I need to choose one before the sale ends or I can just look for something else where...Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Here is some info to help you help me decide (lol)

I wear various kind of clothings from casual (hoodies + jeans) to casual dressy (blazer or trench coat/peacoat + jeans/dress pants).

other runners I have: converse-like sneakers which are kind of old and i want to throw away..I don't have other runners
other flats I have: I only have a pair of grey flats, the rest are boots or heels.

I prefer wearing shoes with socks so there's more protection and the shoe wouldn't smell as bad...

I vote for the Puma's. The Lacoste would look weird with socks too since you like wearin socks.

i seccond that & pumas are more useful (winter+ summer)

the lacoste can only be worn in the summer. however, there are certain places that carry socks for flats (i have some) but im not sur which stores carry them here..try some asian malls if you want them

i love both puma and lacoste... if you are choosing from the pictures, I would go with the pumas. they are more casual and better for the vancouver weather (especially when it rains)....

^oh nono I wouldn't wear them with socks of course...I would put insoles in there but I don't really like wearing flats for that reason actually XD most of the times flats hurt my feets but I can tell the Lacoste flats are made with better quality cuz they were REALLY comfy.

that's a good point! I wouldn't put my $70 puma in rain though XD I have a pair of rainboots that I wear in bad weather =)

I several pairs of lacost shoes and I really regret buying them. Non of them are that comfy.

i heard that too about lacoste shoes! i had lacoste flats b4 and they were not comfy.
