Question clubbing clothing

Okay this is probably a stupid and pathetic question, but what kind of clothing do you wear to a club? Please post pictures or list things that you would wear to a club (head to toe...)

I read somewhere that someone saw sooo many people wearing tights at a club and it wasn't great.

It's probably really hot in a club right? so would you not wear a jacket? or what?

I am 21 (omg...) and I think next week I will be going to a club for the first time...
so what do I need to know and not?

Re: clubbing clothing

lol. you definitely do NOT wear a coat in the club. if you need to wear a coat there, use the coat-check!
Usually when I go clubbing I wear a mini with heels and a sexy top... can never go wrong with that! :)

Re: clubbing clothing

o yeah, and make sure you keep your drink on you at all times (dont set it down) - cuz you never know if someone will try to slip you something. If a guy buys you a drink, go with him to the bar so that you can see the drink being poured and served ...don't let him bring a drink over to you , again b/c you never know if he might try to slip you something.

I usually dont bring a purse...I just bring my ID and some cash and put it in my bra (on the side by my ribs). I find that its more convenient that way when you're trying to dance.

My friends who bring purses just hang on to it

Re: clubbing clothing

Most ppl, no offence, the ladies wear skankier clothes lol, to show off their bodies. Some people would wear mini skirts, and short shorts, and tank tops, tube tops, something kinda dressy.

I would say check out Urban Behaviour, and Sirens, if you are looking for something to wear and their clothes arn't that pricy. but the material is kinda crappy.

You can never go wrong with jeans, but always wear heels, to show off your legs. just not too high, or else you gonna die in them lol

I would suggest wearinng skinny jeans, with a nice pair of heels (pumps) and nice top.
It also kinda depends which club you go too as well. as for purses i say bring a clutch or a wristlet. don't bag check, you can't trust them. or keep everything you need with you, then bag check.

Re: clubbing clothing

as far as I know the only acceptable ID for clubbing are driver's licence or a passport, well here in toronto anyways.

I have no idea if a Health card will work, though I'm leaning towards a no...maybe someone else who's used something else will post!

Re: clubbing clothing

long shirts, bubble top with wide sleeve, or long dresses. if you're wearing boots, you could put your money, ID, and cellphone in your boots

Re: clubbing clothing

some downtown clubs have dress codes - ie no jeans or flip flops

but they seem to let anyone in these days
