no cook meal ideas!

So I am trying to think of recipes and ideas for my boyfriend. He is currently living in a camp site (for work) and is stuck with camp food. It's not good at all and he always gets a stomach-ache and they tend to use whatever they have to make up a meal.

In his room he has about a mini fridge and has a few utensils and bowls. He does not have a microwave, heating stove, toaster, etc... just a small fridge. He goes to town (which is like a 30min drive like 2x a week. Remember his fridge is small... so there isn't much room to hold alot.

I have already thought about ideas (most imortantly for lunch) but it's the same old thing so I was wondering if you guys could help me out. Ideas that don't include tons of items or even prep.

My ideas:
instant noodles
can food
sandwiches (which he is sick of): tuna, imitation crab, pb &j, meat and cheese, etc...
mac and cheese in a cup
pitas
tortilla wraps

Thanks in Advance!

For lunch he can wrap some meat, cheese, lettuce, and mayo in a tortilla wrap. It's good! :D

Re: no cook meal ideas!

darn if he has a microwave, you can actually crack an egg in there, scramble it up then heat it for a minute or two (until it's cooked) and it's like literally the best scramble egg ever.

Re: no cook meal ideas!

Ohh...wraps. Good thinking. Don't underestimate the yumminess of wraps! You can put so many different things in them. The ones from Safeway taste great, are easy to imitate, and are good cold.

And sick of sandwiches? Oh no!! Maybe he should mix it up with different bread (if he can). That helps I find.

So, he has absolutely no way of heating food? Can he heat water?

Re: no cook meal ideas!

thanks guys!

he had been buying different breads: subs, italian, rye, etc...
but i really think he is just missing the home cook meals (which we can't really do anything about it)

i don't think he has a kettle in his room, but i'm pretty sure they have it in the lunchroom/ cafe. i also think they have microwaves, but it tends to take a long time because alot of people use it ( remember it has to be able to be kept in a mini fridge until that time, not a freezer)....
