kinda stuupid question but..

what does it mean when people say like "bump" on threads... haha

"bump" means to bring up the thread again..

that's the best i can define it.. =X

yea, ppl usually use it because it's a lot easier than making a new thread.

It's when they wanna "bump" the top of the thread to the top of the list in the forum so it's easy to spot!

I hate it when people do that though.

Forum threads with the most recent postings are "bumped" up to the top, therefore people who want to promote their thread or want more ppl seeing and posting in it (if they're selling something or need a question answered quickly) post useless postings such as "bump".

I see. So the "bump" thing is a stupid waste of a post then. Admin should start punishing those who use the "bump" thing from now on
