Re:Salon and HAIR Help!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean about not getting your hair fried from the dye. You need to go to a reputable place that has a good rep. (ie. friends tell you that they\'ve have a good experience there, etc.. As for which color to do, with black hair, try burgundy highlights (it usually looks great) if you have really black hair (ie. Asian). If more of a darker brown shade, try Chestnut brown.

Re:Salon and HAIR Help!!!!!!!!

its not easy to find a salon that will give you exactly what you want for a good deal...cheaper salons usually dunt give u results u want(trust me ive had fair share of ppl dying me hair)...u shud call round for estimates..but i recomend hennessy its not cheap (but chepaer then sum places) and they do an awesome job...depends on what you want done..sumthin easy u cud go anywhere but if its more abstract like highlights and different colours u gota empty ur pockets!;)

Re:Salon and HAIR Help!!!!!!!!

you can always try BackStage hair studio in richmond... by Saba Road (near Richmond centre).
a lot of the asian places in various chinese malls like Aberdeen Center can do it for wayy cheaper than at the high end places..
eg: $60-80 as opposed to when i went to Sukis $400

honestly, if you feel like splurging, go for for the high end expensive well known places, but from my experience (and i\'ve dyed my hair for about 8 years now).. the effects are practically the same if YOU are specific about what you want

black hair? lighten up your whole head to a light brown, then do honey streaks... lighten up for summer! =)

PS- A LOT of ppls get REEEALY good deals and good results from their \"connections\" so the best is to ask your friends. surprisingly, a lot of ppls have their own \"basement\" friend/aunt/uncle/friend who work for a salon but who do freelance work on their own for like 1/3 the price

hair

I always go to Asian salons (perferable Korean or Vietnamese)... they do a good job and the prices are very reasonable. N&T on Kingsway is pretty good and they really concentrate on your hair.
