i'd say 20%, depends if you're satisfied or not.
the haircut comes with a shampoo right? does anyone know if they shampoo first before cutting anything because my hair is curled right now and I don't know if I should wash the curls out before I go |

That's a really good price for the whole head, also considering that you have long and thick hair. Who was your colorist? I'm going for hair colour at Chura sometime soon but I'm still debating on highlights or whole head... |

My hair right now is brown with medium brown highlights but I'm debating on whether to get light brown all over or light brown base and platinum highlights. I just hate the noticeable roots, especially with blond. I guess we'll see how I feel then and I'll decide when the time comes.

Yeah, they wash your hair before cutting it.

Re: Making an appt at Chura: Which stylist should I ask for?
so I just got my haircut, I'm pretty pleased with it. I got bangs and she trimmed, layered, and thinned my hair. I actually really really hated it after she finished, it was just the bangs were all wrong but she was too sweet so I gave her a generous tip and said I liked it but when I got home I styled it myself and I like it a lot better. She also explained that it probably will look different than the picture I showed her because my hair was a lot thicker and more rough so overall I'm quite pleased.

Re: Making an appt at Chura: Which stylist should I ask for?
I've gone to Chura twice. A 50/50 experience for me. I forgot the name of the good stylist, but as for the bad one- I DON'T recomend Yuki Tamai. She definately has skills but her communication is awful! She didn't follow the photograph I brought along for the cut- took about an 40min fixing it afterwards. For color she didn't understand the photograph so a translator stepped in. I wanted undertones of brown beneath my bangs. She is very polite and all but seriously cut/color/bleach -It took ridiculously long- I'm very skeptical to go back to chura to touch up my roots....

Re: Making an appt at Chura: Which stylist should I ask for?
An update to tell you how my haircut went: I got my haircut from Yuka. She was nice and listened to what I want. I told her that I wanted to keep my hair long, around bra strap length, and that was pretty much my only preference. When she was done and I got up, half my hair or more was on the floor !
That sort of freaked me out a little.Don't get me wrong, I was very happy with my haircut! I like the way she styled it too. I have a lot more layers, more dimension, and got some nice comments about my hair too. It's been about 3 weeks and I like it more now since it has grown.. I think my hair grows pretty quickly. Perhaps I should think about booking my next hair appt at Chura.. ![]() |
