How do you keep your bangs in place?

so does anyone else besides me have that same problem where you find it hard to keep your bangs in place and need a hair product to keep it in tact such as a manipulator and spray? my bangs have NEVER stayed in place, pretty much no matter what i do with ANY type of hair cut (considering i always get side bangs) and i dont wanna do anything too dramatic like go for straight bangs so im wondering what you guys use to keep your hair to the sides in place and for what price and where you purchased the product. please give me some feed back, i would REALLY appreciate it !

Also : my hair seems UNTEASABLE. Literally ! no matter what i seem to do it never seems to hold. I dont use condition so i dont weigh down my hair and i blow dry and tease upside down PLUS use hair spray yet NOTHING , absolutely NOTHING seems to work ! please give me any helpful information if your in the same situation . Thanks in advance !

there was this ONE strand of hair that wouldn't stick with the others so i just gave up on it and clipped it to the side !

i have the same problem! i try to tease my hair but it never works. but aren't most of the people that tease their hair have damaged hair? that's what i always thought. because i see a lot of asians with bleached/blonde hair, and it seems easy to tease their hair.

side bangs: i blow dry it in place. i just take a round brush and just style it to the side.
im not sure if that made sense.

lol yeah i know what you mean, i try to blowdry them into place but its really just the same thing maybe its the way my bangs have been cut....
and yeah, haha it usually IS the people that have the thicker / damaged hair becuase i think thicker = more hold? thinner = harder to stay up

no,i think the thicker/healthy hair is harder to stay up,and the thinner/damaged hair is easier to stay up. i wanted my hair to be damaged ,so i can tease it

Re: How do you keep your bangs in place?

I straighten my bangs in place and usually it stays like that. My friend uses a hair curler to keep her bangs bouncy!

My hair's really hard to tease too.. it's because I've had the same hairline for a long time and gravity just won't let it up lol! I have to use TONS of hair spray and a lot of back-combing to make it big.

Yeah, it's true that healthy hair is hard to tease. My friends with bleached hair can tease their hair like crazy because it's already so damaged and it just seems to hold up.

Re: How do you keep your bangs in place?

mine always stay in one place. the only problem i have is that it becomes really oily. but a good way to keep your bangs in place is probably blowdrying it w/ a brush or straightening it at a angle.

Re: How do you keep your bangs in place?

i think a good way to help tease your hair is to use a curling iron. curl the back part of the area you would like to tease and it'll end up kinda puffy. let it cool (since teasing with hot hair is even worse!) and then tease away and use hair spray for hold.

I have hair that's difficult to tease, too. Haha high five! I think I've just given up on teasing my hair and trying to give it volume in general ._.

Most of my friends straighten their bangs like you but I have to curl mine every morning to give it that swoosh to the side LOL otherwise it'll just fall straight (my hair is naturally stick-straight) and look boring lmao. I used hairspray but now I ran out so I'm using some L'Oreal...hot curl...thing. My bangs stay in place but they do loosen by the end of the day...if that makes any sense ><

Re: How do you keep your bangs in place?

I have the same problem sometimes. I have long straight healthy hair.. I blow dry using a really good round brush. I think the brush you use also makes a difference. I bought my round brush from the salon and i love it.. its not those plastic ones, but the ones w/ the wooden handle and the bristles are finer.
when i'm around the house or at the gym I usually clip my side bangs to the side ( bobby pin or clip) so that when i let it down it still looks okay.
