Vancouver TheatreSports® League is proud to announce the return of our Family Matinee Series with the premiere of Scary Improv Talesfor one weekend only, October 28th and 29th, at the New Revue Stage on Granville Island.
Get ready for Halloween with 40 minutes of eerie unscripted fun as Vancouver TheatreSports puts a spooky spin on some fairy tale classics. Prepare yourself and the little ones… as the woods are full of witches and wolves and ogres and giants. Can Hansel and Gretel find their way home? Will little Red Riding Hood stray from the path? Are the three Little Pigs really safe from the Wolf? Only the audience can say because it is their suggestions that will determine the fates of our characters as well as provide fodder for hilariously improvised scenes.
Suitable for audiences Grades K - 12
“Families are looking for new options when it comes to activities they can enjoy together, particularly at this time of the year,” says Jay Ono, Executive Director of Vancouver TheatreSports® League. “Halloween is so popular because it’s all about imagination and performance. It lends itself completely to improv.”Scary Improv Tales October 28th & 29th
