How to make my Jeans smaller?

I have a pair of size 24 true religion jeans the thigh fits kinda big do you know which shop can make it smaller>? Is it even possible that they can make the thigh part smaller? Because the thigh is 20 inches all the way around and im 18 inches. Is there any stores you guys know of i can go to ?

anybody know of any professional taylors?

Re: How to make my Jeans smaller?

You could try washing it in warm/hot water and drying it on warm/hot air.

Re: How to make my Jeans smaller?

Usually denim is pre-shrunk (people used to wear wet jeans until they were dry so that they would fit properly!)... I would love to know a way to make jeans shrink as well, if there is one. Some of mine don't fit like I want them to =\

Re: How to make my Jeans smaller?

I know a place in metro called stitches(not stitches the store) that does stitching for cloth and jeans, but it might be suitable for designer jeans. go check it out :)

Re: How to make my Jeans smaller?

I think the one by superstore in metrotown might be able to do some alterations too, cuz one of my co-worker wanted to make the calves part of the jean tighter and he got it altered somewhere at metrotown

Re: How to make my Jeans smaller?

you can try the hot water method. just soak your jeans in scalding hot water for 5-10minutes, wring the water out, and then hang to dry.

are your TR's rigid or do they have stretch in them? if they have stretch, unfortunately, they will just stretch back if you use this method.
